Appointment No Show Policy
Effective May 25, 2023, we are implementing an appointment no-show policy. We kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $25 which is not covered by your insurance.
We understand that emergencies and unexpected events may arise, but repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations prevent us from seeing other patients who may have needed our services. By giving us ample notice, you allow us to offer your time slot to another patient.

East Paris Internal Medicine Associates provides personalized comprehensive primary care to young, middle-aged and older adults. We practice preventive medicine, emphasizing healthy lifestyles, and obtaining appropriate screening tests when indicated. We diagnose and treat many medical diseases. For individuals with multiple complex medical conditions we manage and coordinate care between various specialists.
Our office is large enough to provide the convenience of on-site services you may need, including radiology, bone densitometry, electrocardiograms, spirometry and immunizations. But our office is small enough to know you as an individual. Your health concerns, well-being and satisfaction are very important to us. Our goal is to listen to you and provide compassionate, effective medical care.
Our primary hospital system affiliation is with Spectrum Hospital, but we can work with the other hospital systems as well. Although we work with the local hospital systems, we are not owned by a hospital system. We work for you, the patient. This allows referral to the best specialty care in the Grand Rapids area for your individual needs. We charge no facility fees, keeping the cost of health care down.

Meet the physician assistants
Each of our physicians is supported by one of our two physician assistants. They work closely together along with dedicated medical assistants to provide improved patient focused care.
Care Management
There are two registered nurses available that perform care management for patients. Care management is a service for patients to help them navigate the healthcare system. Care Managers may call after you have been in the hospital to see how you are doing, making sure you can afford your medications and getting you help if you can’t. Care management helps manage chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypertension, getting services in your home if and when you need them. This is a small sample of what care managers do.
